  • tim larosee

    PRODUCT MANAGER

Tim is heading up our tech here at Glitter. Applying a design and systems thinking approach to how we use tech, he works at the intersection of data, product, and operations. Employing knowledgeable humility, curiosity, and a touch of cynical dad humor, his education in product design and account management and customer support is a perfect fit for continuously improving Glitter’s product and services.

Tim’s participation in environmental sustainability efforts started in high school, having only shifted capacity and geographically over time. He has been a Glitter advocate on his block and in the community, previously volunteering as a brand ambassador for the first Glitter pilot cohort. He couldn’t be more excited to be aligned in mission, where the junction of tech and actionable, environmental, and societal impact meet.

Emily Rector is our dedicated Operations Manager at Glitter. With nearly three years of experience as a cleaner with us, Emily has a unique understanding of our operations and team dynamics. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College and has extensive experience in social services, having worked as a foster care program coordinator at Merakey and a case manager at Turning Points for Children.

In her spare time, she works on creating art by transforming found objects and discarded materials into unique, meaningful pieces and spending as much time as possible in nature. Her passion for social impact and environmental stewardship aligns perfectly with Glitter's mission. We're excited to have Emily lead our operations, driving efficiency and empathy in all we do.

    Rocky Raccoon

    MASCOT

We’ve got lots of enthusiastic supporters, but no one is more excited about what we do than our trash-loving, city-dwelling mascot.

So don’t be surprised if you see this friendly face popping up pretty much anywhere you find our team.

Rocky’s goal is simple: to help everyone in the city realize that trash-free is the way to be, and that a sparkling clean street can benefit your entire neighborhood — from the neighbors, to the businesses, to the cutest city critters out there.

I was born and raised in this city and I love it. I just want it to be clean and for its appearance to match its historic significance.

How has this job affected your life?

It's helped me move on from culinary work. I was really burnt out from working in kitchens all of these past years. I was exhausted I now have actual free time and a convenient schedule. Plus I get to spend my time outside in the sun, instead of cooped up in a kitchen.
