Sometimes people want to just add more to the bucket and we appreciate that too. We are not a registered nonprofit so this is not tax deductible, but if you want to contribute we appreciate it and so will the people who get to live on a clean street because of you!

how it works

Neighbors make a pledge to fund their block, but when enough people pledge the costs go down for everyone. The question became - what if people wanted to put that money they had pledged back into the Glitter system to help other blocks with fewer high income neighbors to get cleaned too.

That’s how we are able to offer blocks a discount to clean in neighborhoods that might not otherwise be able to afford our service.

The glitter Impact Fund is one of the ways we have woven impact into the fabric of our company. it’s all about empowering neighbors to contribute and cooperate.

every glitter subscriber gets to choose how much they contribute. when a block is ‘oversubscribed’ meaning more has been pledged than is needed to cover the costs of the cleanings, then the price goes down for everyone. unless they also chose to have their savings rolled over into the impact fund.
