Neighbors have paid for Glitter Cleaners to come and clean up the litter on their block. Glitter is a social enterprise in Philadelphia with permission from the City’s Sanitation Department to put bags of swept up litter out for collection (even if a few hours outside of trash time windows).
We are grateful that the City is dedicated to a Cleaner, Greener Philadelphia and honors the work that all of us are doing to help make that happen.

neighbors Make a pledge
You decide what you can contribute to the $50 a week cleanings, by making a pledge that fits your budget. Contributions are a monthly charge and you can cancel any time (but most don’t!).

Share and save
Costs are shared by everyone who signs up on your block. We will help you do outreach to your neighbors to get more contributions - so your cost goes down, and cleaning frequency goes up!

Weekly Cleanups
Cleaners will come as soon as your block has raised enough for 1x a month cleanings, typically $50. Every additional $50 unlocks another week of cleaning. You will be able to see your block’s before and after photos, see your cleaner, report an issue and more in our Member Hub.
